I've never done a graphic novel, i've thought about doing one, but my art isn't exactly fit for one of those methinks.

It has graphics in them, but unless you build on dating sims using a lot of artwork to unlock, it's actually far minor than you'd like to think. Writing, pacing and sound-design are most important.
It helps to make 'em pretty of course, but the same is true for any game.
I've thought of doing visual novels. That's about as far as I get with them, though!
