[RM2K3] (FIXED) NON-TRANSPARENT MONSTER BACKGROUNDS

I am making custom monster sprites on Paint.NET and saved them as 8-bit as the Help file tells me to. However, when the graphic is loaded, there is a big black box outside the sprite despite the outside being transparent. I tried colouring the transparent white, and it shows a big white box. What am I supposed to do?
Go to the Resource Importer (near the sound/database/testplay buttons) and import the graphics into the necessary folder. When you do it will pop up with a preview asking you to click on the background colour. Click on the background colour. This will make the colour you click on transparent in the game.

You can also use iDraw to denote a particular background colour instead - the top-left colour in the palette is the one that will be invisible. Keep in mind that iDraw will only allow 256 colour-based images to load, and only png or bmps.
