The fly skill is your ability to fly should you gain the means somehow. Whether by a magic that gives you wings or just let's you defy gravity. It's mainly used for doing aerial maneuvers such as turning at sharp angles or hovering, as well as maintaining flight in hazardous conditions, such as during a storm or high winds.
(Oh okay, thanks for clafifying. Also should we all roll perception for the spider twitching from earlier or are we already far away?)
"Also, if I find anything I'll tell you Aldy, you seem very curious of... Well everything, especially the Energy Crystals of no touchingness!"

I guess I have no terrain bonuses here.
I turn to Aldus. "Speaking of these Energy Crystals, Aldus, what has you so fixated on them?"

In response to Enna's question: "Oh, I don't know. I presumed they have some interesting properties. If I already knew, though, then I'd have no reason to care about finding out any more, right?"
So, all five of you enter the mines.
The cave entrance seems crude, as it's natural. However once you enter it slopes down significantly. There are wooden planks embedded into the slope as steps. Some have rotted a bit and creak very loudly. There are occasional spider webs along the wall and lit torches at intervals along either wall. Soon the slope ceases and there appears to be three other squared tunnel where burrowing commenced. Each tunnel isn't lit. The west one has spider webbing all along the sides, the north one has a chilling draft coming from it, and the south one appears to have a high ceiling and go deeper.

"Interesting" I reply to Aldus. "Are you not bothered by the possibility that you might be taking a big risk in something of little worth?"
As I enter the mines, I become more anxious.

Take a magical torch and light it. (Seiromem, you haven't listed the torches in my bag. I took three from the temple.)
"Shall we set up camp here at the entrance and rest for a while before exploring the mine proper?", I suggest as we approach the split path. "Some food would be nice, too, don't you agree?"
It takes me a few seconds to grasp what Enna is talking about. Then I turn towards her again and reply:
"No, why would that bother me? Anything could happen at any time. Lightning could strike me right this moment. An alligator could appear and swallow me. Or the multiverse could implode the next second. Once you accept there is no such thing as stability, you can just move along with it all. It's very comfortíng, too.
And those Energy Crystals interest me, so what better thing could I do with my relative time than seek them?"

"Well, I doubt lightening is going to strike you inside the entrance of a mine, and I agree with the idea of resting. I don't know how long Chloe and Enna have been about, but the rest of us have had a fairly busy day."
"Heh, that's not a bad attitude to have. I like it." I feel reassured to meet another person who prefers to live life to its fullest.
"I agree, it would be best for us to recuperate before venturing further into the mines." I cautiously turn to address the drow, still not very comfortable around her. "Yeah, I think my day's been quite busy as well."

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I sigh and nod.
I take out my own magical torch and light it.
I check for things that would make this an unsafe camping spot. I roll a 2, though I'm not sure what skill I'm using (and I guess you probably shouldn't tell me).

I feel as if I'm walking on eggshells around the elf. The racial hatred between surface elves and drow goes far deeper than simple cultural misunderstanding. They have good reason for hating the drow...not that humans don't have good reason. Fortunately, the elves I have met have never treated me with anything worse than profound disdain. Then again, I've never met any outside of cities, and I've often wonder what might have transpired had we met without onlookers. I wonder if Enna and I will ever feel comfortable around each other. Enna's comment sounds defensive, but I can tell by her tone that she didn't mean it to be. "Oh!" I say, "I-I didn't mean to imply that it wasn't. I simply..." I falter sheepishly. I don't know what she must think of me. Have I offended her? Have I only made her more uncomfortable?
Damn it, I've always been like this.
Well, I check the area also. But I only do marginally better than Agnelia. 2 to Perception. +5, still gives me a crappy 7.

is falith still around in this world? i thought it may be fun to take her form again... i'm sorry i left please forgive me
You want to be re-inserted? Very well, I'll PM you later.
The torches on the wall were already lit when we arrived, correct? I will examine them more closely to see if they are somehow magical or otherwise special. An Arcana check would give me a score of 20 (11 + 9).
(By the way, our new spells haven't been added to our profiles yet, so I'm not sure whether Read Mind has a cooldown, for instance. I also picked up one of the blue flame torches in the temple, and the save DC for Implant Memory still says 15, even though it's 16 now.)
