"Hey, it isn't okay for her either, but she has a reason, let's just stop arguing, or I'll bonk you on the head with my staff!!"

I had been ignoring Chloe, but I look at Enna out of the corner of my eye and I can't help but smile. I appear to have struck a nerve. "I apologize. I tend to be abrasive. You know...there's an art to the insult."

I have a few words for Chloe. "Whatever her issue is, is not my concern. If you wear your heart on your sleeve, you've only yourself to blame when it gets blasted to smithereens. Of course, you should really think twice about what you do with that staff. You've already been unconscious twice today."

"Oh, I'm glad to see you're all beginning to appreciate chaos as well. I could do without the shouting, but I won't complain.
I can't yet decide whether being born from a stick is more or less interesting than being a Drow. Both are rare in these parts, although the Drow have a richer culture and magic. I definitely want to hear more stories from both of you later on, but maybe we should save that for after our successful investigations. So many brilliant things to discover..."

I pat Leara and Enna on the shoulder in an encouraging manner and gesture to go forward, excitement sparkling in my eyes.


Edit: Dang, I got double-ninja'd. Just imagine this happened before the previous two posts, I guess.

"Do you think its a bat from that story about that guy who bites people and makes them go all bat-y and awesome? A "vampire bat"? That'd be really cool, I wanna go first! Please? At the very least I wanna know what it is!"
*Kloe attempts to get to the front, I roll a 15 if that helps.*

I tensed up as Aldus approached me, but I begrudgingly accepted his pat anyway. A thought of simply killing everyone in this group flashes in my mind, but... No. I know better than to let my emotions dictate my actions. Getting angry has always left me vulnerable, as it just did as I took the bait from that wench of a Drow.

I chose to just ignore Leara for now. I grow a bit concerned as Chloe attempts to go out in front.

"Hey... I-I don't think you want to meet a vampire." I beg of her nervously.

"Vampires are not friendly. They drink your blood for food and are very strong. If you become one of them, they make you their slave until you can break free of them, then you become just like them."

I catch Chloe by the shoulder and say so only she can hear, "I worry about her, and I wanted to stop her, but honestly, I'm a little afraid of her."

(whispered) "The whip isn't what scares me." (spoken aloud) "And flooding a cave is never a good a idea, especially if you're in it."

Stop. "Agnelia, hold up." I give strong consideration to the idea.

EDIT: I turn to Enna. "We are the intruders that know nothing about this mine. If there is something dangerous down there, it has the advantage." I raise my finger to point down the shaft, but then I change my mind as I think of something else, waving the finger back and forth in short, chopping motions. "We need to stay in sight of each other for safety, but if we took positions away from each other, we could use your idea to potentially ambush an enemy."

"Good idea Enna, but I can't really help with that, instead of dispelling the cute little fella though, can I just hide him back there? I don't wanna dispell the little cutey!"
