[GAME OVER] SPY VS. MAFIA

Also why the hell wouldn't he have told you? Shouldn't agents know who each other are? It's pretty stupid not to bother telling each other who you are just in case of a situation like this!
Judging from TangledLion's copy-paste, I don't think they're allowed to reveal each other's identities? At least the Mafia aren't, but which the whole double-agent thing I'd assume it's the same for the Agents.
Not allowed to revealed their identities*

Yeah guys I got pissed.
I knew I where this shit was going so I just decided that if I was going down, I might as well take the scummy DOUBLE AGENT with me whom I never trusted.
Meh.
I Revealed myself to you day one to AVOID this, the mafia will likely win because of you!
If you just said in agent chat who you were I could have MADE myself look scum to protect you!
*Sigh* we suck at this...
We need to keep in mind ratty may be trying to lie about being an agent at this point yes. How do these two people know this information? It's pretty likely they're both the same alignment. The code stuff seems agent-like so I think ratty is indeed an agent.

What if Tangled is lying about working for the Agents, and is actually working with Mafia? Then, it's more likely that he's trying to keep Ratty alive, by saying Ratty is an agent.
Yeah, I said that just before - it could be that they're both playing an angle to make it seem like they're innocent when they're not. The only way we'll be able to know for sure is if another agent jumps to their defence (not at all likely either way - if they're telling the truth the agent might be putting the best hope for our win in jeopardy and if they're lying the agents still might not risk their necks) or if one of them dies.
I'm going to stick with my vote, just in case Ratty and Tangled are mafia.
However, I do admit, Liberty, couldn't this statement be used against you, as if you were trying to pass blame onto them?

Smells a bit like two mafia cooking up a plot to try and trick people into thinking they're both agents. And of course other agents wouldn't out themselves else they might get night-killed.

I'm not sure if I trust either of you now.
Tangled was the first to reveal himself in our private chat, as an act of trust. However, considering his role, I figured something was fishy. After all, he could easily relay OUR information to mafia just as well as he could relay mafia's info to us. I was figuring out ways to get rid of him right from that moment.
But thanks to my idiotic playstyle I once again got town against me, and with the way votes were going it was clear that I was going to get lynched, so I said fuck it, my plan was to out Tangled anyway, so now's the best time to do it.
Even if Tangled didn't just react the way he did right now, he would still get identified INSTANTLY by mafia and possibly night-killed at the least.
But yeah at this point there would be only one agent defending town now.
Meh...
If they really ARE agents, they'll be killed at night. If they're not killed at night, they're probably mafia. If the mafia tries to trick us into thinking the agents are mafia they'll only be wasting their time and probably won't be able to resist lynching an agent the second night.
From the looks of it the agents are allowed to tell each other who they were. At least if we're believing these two are agents. I dunno. This is hard. >.<;

Looks like mafia and agents don't know each others' identities in the private chat.

Wow, a lot of stuff just happened, holy hell.
Can someone please summarize what the heck just happened, did we just find a mafia or an agent or some double agent? So confusing...
Ratty thought he was going to be lynched, so he outed TangledLion as a double agent. TangledLion was convinced Ratty was mafia.
It'd be nice if we could keep TangledLion alive regardless of who he's actually working for because it's good source of info regardless (and has already been fairly exciting haha)
So let's pick someone else to lynch - anyone else. We don't want to put ourselves at higher risk by lynching an agent. The mafia kills will tell us if we should lynch them.
Hang on a second:
If TangledLion and Ratty are both town-aligned agents, and we lynch Ratty, and TangledLion is night killed, AND there's a double-agent, doesn't that mean we lose the game?

Anyone who wants to lynch ratty - feel free to lynch me instead that is much better for town at this point.

The double agent could be in addition to the standard agents/mafia. @TangledLion care to clarify?
Also keep in mind that not knowing the full rules is part of the game -- there might not even be a night kill, if you check the basic rule list.
Okay, so in this case wouldn't it make more sense to NOT lynch Ratty? Because if we don't and he really IS a town-aligned agent, he's probs gonna be night killed anyway, right? After all, two nightkills are all Scum need to win the game.
