As you think about heading to the kitchen you realise one obvious thing. There is no kitchen. It seems the house was only built for a bit of sleep and that the person who lived here ate out in the commercial area or ate pure food from the farm most of the time, such as fruit. You cannot find butter here, maybe in the Housing/Commercial zones?

Speaking of the blood thing; you can use it in game and make some kind of penalty...like I can't post for a day phase or something. I'd do it if I thought the payoff for town would be good.

You should not do that, you would traumatize this girl, but I guess that's your decision. (and would creep me out probably) But Piano does ask the group to try to find some sort of lubricant to break the girl out of her shackles.
Well, you know, it's a desperation thing. Here we are, in this dark cellar, and here's this girl who's been imprisoned by a deranged killer. There's a sort of implied urgency on getting her out of there.
