Nothing ever came of it, though. I'm still not sure why that knife was there.
It was the knife that was used to kill Ziggy and Farmer McFarmerson, planted there by NeverSilent, after he found it in the forest.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Oh, it was planted to intentionally confuse me. No wonder it confused me.
It was also to divert attention if any actual evidence was left behind! (Kloe used a coin toss to decide)

You shouldn't have been impressed by that. I barely need an excuse to get my clothes off.
OddRABBIT, don't feel too bad. If you find yourself struggling with the Mafia game, the best way to gain more experience, confidence and routine is to play more Mafia games. I felt pretty guilty for Crystal and me taking advantage of you like that at the end, but sometimes things like that just happen. Don't let a few first unsuccessful attempts discourage you!
The actual reason I didn't immediately go along with the idea of everyone taking their clothes off was just because I thought it was stupid. I knew I had nothing to hide all along. Not the smartest move I made throughout this game, but at least it didn't kill me.
The knife was planted there specifically because it made no sense. Its only purpose was to shed doubt on the reliability of the other evidence, which we knew could be found and directly implicate us. I hadn't imagined it would work that well.
The double-kill through fearful, though? That one was pure luck.

Oh, right! There was one thing I wanted to ask out of pure curiosity: Kloe, how did you plan for us to unlock the ???-area, and what would have happened if we had gotten there?
That is PewPew Tower, I was expecting you guys to go to the other areas actually, the rest had like 90% of what I had planned, I even had to move Kloe over to the farmland and make a farmhouse... Farm zone and Forest weren't really the places I thought you'd go.
Well if you got to PewPew Tower, you could stop Mafia chat and also kill Murderer Kloe BEFORE the game ended. This would greatly help town.
The other areas had places for you to explore, and certain things would trigger eachother, causing the path to PewPew Tower to be unlocked...
