Not an argument, Ratty. It's a statement of fact. NS and odd are so completely town, we may as well have seen their PM. They are unimpeachable at this point. You and CM are all that's left.

This is mostly true, except you've only been giving off you're regular scum tells, which as I said before, was normal for you. I actually based my lack of suspicion on you on previous games: games where I led a bandwagon on you and you flipped town, and the Spy vs. Mafia game, where you looked scum, and then had a meltdown and outed TangledLion. Your normal playstyle draws looks. In Phoenix Wright, you were more scummy than usual. That wasn't happening in this game. So no, you looked perfectly normal. LockeZ's "suspicion" of you can barely be called that, since it quickly became clear that he was simply playing wild to generate discussion. You'll notice that you never came up again in LockeZ's suspicions, but his other suspicions, including of me and fearful, remained firm.

NS and IF aren't experienced players, and you'll note that I specified that experienced players didn't suspect you.

And no, I actually haven't surpassed you. I've looked scum simply by virtue of following LockeZ, then I looked scum by that ungodly battle with Shinan. I finally decided to offset my scum appearance by deliberately playing scum.

This is not a game played by individuals. There are no individual winners here. I knew that we were wasting precious time scum-hunting me, when no obvious scumtells were being put out. In a game like this, town has to be willing to sacrifice himself, for the good of town. I know I'm town, and as long as the players were scum-hunting me, I knew I was giving scum a precious day phase of free space to continue their plans without having to worry about fending off suspicion. I was ready to mod-suicide to prevent town from losing a day. I ultimately took Cave's advice from the Suikoden II mafia. Town has to be willing to immediately die for the good of town. Yes, that was what actually made me start acting like an idiot. Cave Dog is known throughout the mafia community as the King of Mafia. There's a reason he doesn't want to play with us anymore. I started to really feel ashamed because of the way I treated him (which is how Crystal is now acting towards me), especially with the realization that he was 100 percent, absolutely right.

Rules mean nothing in Mafia. If you really want to win, you need to use them to your advantage, and a mod-suicide is a viable town play, the one power that town never considers, because we've all got it in our heads to stay alive. No! That isn't the best play for town. If you're being scumhunted, and you can't avoid the lynch, you need to mod-suicide to force town to look at someone else.

I couldn't believe it. I was acting like a lunatic and all the votes were still on Shinan. I know my permanent playstyle now.

In that day one exchange between you, LockeZ, Yellow Magic, and NeverSilent, I knew one of you was scum (though that realization didn't come until I went back and really looked at it), but I didn't know which one. First, I suspected NeverSilent and LockeZ, (you'll notice I made the boss and employee comparison), but NeverSilent came up with decisive evidence (from Kloe's roleplay) that threw that into doubt. YM was already dead by this point.

Still, I couldn't finger you. You were being perfectly Ratty524 (my god and goddess your game was perfect this mafia. You have been unbelievable. I'm sorry for this overpraise, but seriously, wow! Just fucking wow! I honestly wouldn't have believed it of you. You have been Jeroen/Cave_Dog/Yellow Magic level in this game.). That you were playing so perfect should have been my real clue.

With nothing left on an endgame day, focus shifted on me again. So I skirted the rules, and I got what I wanted. Crystal-Mint's reaction by itself wasn't so bad, but putting on NeverSilent, whoa did she ever flip scum. She voted me out of spite after NS made his spite post. Then NS decides not to just throw away the game, and CM maintains her vote. CM flipped super scum at that point. When that happened, I reexamined NeverSilent, and I realized that you and CM were both voting for me. If NS was scum, it'd be an easy victory. All he'd have to do is vote for me.

All that was left was oddRabbit. He wasn't voting, which briefly made him look scum. Then I realized, he's been dealing with the same uncertainty as the rest of us, and he's still uncertain. If he was scum, he'd be voting. You and CM, on the other hand, are both certain with your votes. It's you, Ratty. It's you and CM. It's an inescapable reality.
