I would like some help on something involving the Script editor. I'm trying to edit the shop script to where once you make a purchase, the item disappears and triggers an event. Like an upgrade store.

I dont know about an actual edit but you could get a limited item shop script and set an event on parallel process for when you have said item it triggers.

Which engine is this for? I mean, I've messed with shop processes in regards to VX Ace, though that was more about having items randomize their cost within a certain range. Though, my current thought-process is that you'd have to give items a "purchased" variable that gets enabled (or incremented?) each time an item is purchased. As for how to replace items that get "upgraded" as you purchase them, my best guess is that there would be some manner of note-tag-thing going down. Probably, the note-tag would indicate what item gets replaced. Not that I have any clue how to code a note-tag, mind you.
