Not-so-great townie, voting CAVE-aligned, has one vote against them already, will be completely unreadable as far as I know. I can't exactly bail out IF without offering an alternative at this point. Not the greatest alternative, but ^ that's my reasoning.

If he's useful to us, that makes him doubly useful to mafia. If mafia is competent they'll be using every dose of infection serum they've got to sideswap him ASAP. (incompetent mafia is less worrying). But basically by day 2 or so it's >50% that he's scum if he's not already. My guess is vigilante because we'll have killed off the people that aren't fans of his play by then... if you notice it's starting already.

Like, I don't think lynching now or anything would be a good idea, but because of the way infection works, useful townies are gonna turn out to be newly minted mafia.

This whole thread is welp. No, people, you are NOT used to CAVE_DOG. I totally agree with that sentiment.

So, here's what I could get from this whole internetz dump: blah. But, what did I expect from day one? Anyhoo, I've got nothing. I feel like I'm on the outside looking in. I don't think anyone's particularly scummy, but we can thank Cave for ratcheting up the crazy.

I may be able to get on for the end of day phase tomorrow...it depends on when AT&T shows up. Since I can't guarantee it, I'll go ahead and cast my vote for #Lynch InfectionFiles. Before anyone asks, no, I don't have a good reason. This is a first day lynch and I'm not really here to examine things closely, so I'm simply lynching to make sure I do my part in keeping things moving.

As a side note, I do agree with Cave_Dog's earlier sentiment about the game being a bit imbalanced because of mafia's ability to infect townies. Can you clarify how that works, because it sounds an awful lot like no matter how many people town lynches, mafia can just keep infecting town.

If cave is important, and they have a high chance of being infected. Maybe the doctor should make him immune?

They can also only infect three people total though, right? They have three vials.

yeah... i guess the hope is the vile that's used would end up being wasted on an immune town.

We might be InfectionFiles... I suppose aggressive behavior isn't always a tell that someone can't be trusted.

Argh, I'm confused but I'll see if I hae this straight.

If we sucsessfully kill a mafia every single night for the firt 3 nights (which is very hard) we'll break even with the number of mafia we had to start with?! And if we don't get lucky, very unlucky even, 3 townies could be stolen and we accedentally lynch 3 townies, we'd lose 6 townies and the mafia would be up to 6!?
