CloseEhhhhh... I think he was pretending to be the doctor day 1 if that's the case. He clearly didn't protect Kloe and that was the only obvious candidate besides himself. If he was doctor I refuse the believe he's infected - a random protect seems silly.

setting up chain lynches is very much scum behavior.

It's possible. I could also be over reading that puzzle. I can't figure out the key or if it even has one (I'm assuming it's that X path with the arrow). If he's the doctor and he protected himself, then he's not infected.

For the record I really don't know who to lynch right now. I'm tempted to avoid CAVE_DOG despite polls.

I could make a list of who I find suspicious/town in case I die but, I'm pretty sure the game will be over if that happens. I'm not too invested cause the setup is so stacked

I feel very confident that the ratty lynch is not picking up steam because it is the correct path that Marduk wishes that we walk
also we're kind of majorly fucked by votes being plurality rather than majority. plurality just makes it easier for scum to kill whoever they want if town votes are diluted, and considering people are changing allegiances and the scumteam numbers are growing, uhhhhhh

If CAVE is doctor, wouldn't it be a bad idea to lynch him? iirc roles are specifically non-mafia.
He could be infected as Gourd pointed out, though.
I only thought he'd /pretend/ to be the doctor. There's a small chance he was actually the doctor and got infected later, protecting someone else maybe to specifically get himself infected (?) but that seems unlikely. But as he was calling instructions to the doctor on day 1 I somehow doubt he was ever the doctor. Now that we've discussed this there's probably less of a chance of it happening, which would be annoying haha.

Not to tread on an old topic, but I still don't get this plan, psy. It sounds a lot like a mafia member trying to get two townies for the price of one. Is there some insight I can gleam from this?
No worries, I even still think it's a good plan. We /need/ a mafia to die tonight, so I was trying to create a situation where even if we missed the first shot, the information we gained would be enough for the serial killer to take the second. I think with how doggedly cavedog's been pursuing Ratty today, they're the two players least likely to be on the same side. Like, if we lynch CAVE tonight and it turns out he was innocent, yes it sucks hard, but it means that there's a good chance CAVE was correct and Ratty was mafia all along. If we killed someone random like piano, blob, etc then we wouldn't gain any information at all. It might not look great on me setting it up, but that might unavoidable.

I'm sure I can change it again if need be. ;w; Considering the cave vote was sort of spur of the moment and cave dispersed my problems with him it doesn't make sense sense to keep my vote on him. Besides, if he IS the doctor then I highly doubt he was infected or will be infected in the future.

Sorry CAVE I missed that there was a new page. Are you still convinced are you that Ratty is scum? I'm personally very skeptical but if you're willing to stake yourself on it I could be convinced.
Or if you'd rather go after gourd or YM I could swap, but I'm not really willing to do that unless there are other people swapping so we keep scumproof majority.
