Well, it may not be so bad. It's possible the doctor can block the mafia's infection.

IIRC the doctor doesn't block an infection. Instead, he invalidates a suspect. Like the mafia only has a 1/3 hit rate on infection because they have to supply three targets. If the doctor blocks one of the targets, it just means one of the others gets infected. It's worth confirming with Tangled, because it doctor actually /does/ block infection we should also be trying to help the doctor work out likely infection targets.

I also realized we have a win condition where mafia infects the SK tonight (or has already done so) and then we lynch the mafia-SK, killing two birds with one stone.

Should I even bother lynching Cave Dog at this point?

Actually, becuase the more useless the less suspicious. It's kinda like reverse psychology. I'm acting suspicious on purpose which is making me look NOT suspicious. Because no mafia in their right mind would willingly admit that they are acting suspicious.

It occurs to me that if Gourd was not scum, mafia could have bandwagoned on my vote and won the game already.

I actually think the game is in a literally unwinnable state for town already so w/e

Froggggge, you realize the game will end /tonight/ unless you change your vote, right? And if it looks like that's what's happening I'm going to team up with scum and lynch you for symbolic reasons.

Yeah we have to play perfectly at this point plus get lucky that mafia nightkills the sk. But Gourd and Blob are almost confirmed scum for me now so I think we can get at least one more night out of this. Just think of it as being all that more impressive if we actually manage to turn this around.

If Frogge decides to dick around instead of voting on scum, we'd still have a 50/50 chance if things lined up you/me/IF vs gourd/blob/piano... this is assuming that IF wasn't infected at any point the last two nights though, and that piano was. Or what I suspect that piano is just terminally hung up on me and Frogge was infected, but Frogge is too much of a force of nature to do anything but vote against you.

I feel like Frogge has been infected. probably IF too. cause if I was scum I would probably infect players that people already had 'town' feelings for.

in any case the entire town+sk all have to vote together. kind of ridiculous

Thanks for having some faith in me piano, but I don't think Frogge is scum. Tangled made a comment to him in the thread that pretty much sealed it for me. He gave Frogge a "tip" to improve his play, which I never think he would've done for a mafia who was pulling an effective ruse. That's meta as hell because it involves the game mod but because the game is stacked I don't really feel bad. Although, really I think there's a 1/3 chance Frogge's scum because if I were scum, I'd have targeted the three lowest people on the suspicion list. I'm not willing to take that risk right now. I'll vote against him if he doesn't take his vote off Cave though because in that case we've lost either way and I'd rather lynch Frogge to teach him a lesson than vote against Cave.

Also, if Frogge was clever scum pretending to be dumb town, he could've just voted for me, and then the game would be over when Gourd and Blob showed back up to dial in their votes. Or he's dumb scum pretending to be dumb town. Who knows. But I'm sure he was innocent before tonight.

Also, @piano and @cave, opinions on Blob? He's the other guy I'm fairly sure is mafia, but I thought Gourd was even more sure and I can articulate my case against Gourd much better. The same "under the radar" stuff about Frogge applies to Blob.

Dude, either move your vote off Cave or at least take the most cursory amount of time to explain why you think one of the least likely guys is guilty.

Don't forget, you have numerously expressed the contention that Frogge is town. We all have. Scum are most likely to target the people drawing the least suspicion.

Another thing about blob. I've been looking for at the bottom of the community portal page. He just hasn't been logged in. I agree, he could be scum, but with a current ratio of 4/3, we're better off going after a stronger scum-tell. You think Gourd: I think you. I am pretty sure Gourd is town...but I'm not as sure as I was about Ratty. I will say this about Gourd. He looks like the perfect town. I've never seen him look like the perfect town.
