YO!

Hello one and all! My name's PK, and while I'm oblivious to the workings of the programs used to make the games I've enjoyed from this site, there's plenty of opinion, wit and admiration to make up for my technological knowledge.

I'm here to reach out to you grand people and give my opinions wherever they may be called to, and maybe become a friend to some of you. I'm a bit notorious for late replies, though, but I always make a deadline.

Anywho! Time to swing around, get the 411 on the ins and outs of the forum so I don't -nearly- screw up a time or two from sheer ignorance alone. Hope everyone's doing well!

I planned on it! What finally made me join was my wife telling me that if I enjoy the games I've downloaded from RMN (which, I think the total is now up to 40 complete titles...), then I should join and make the effort to reach out and share the impressions people's work had on me. Currently have a review for an older title (Paradise Blue) that I'm fine-tuning and then I'll be working my way along the catalog of games.

Too, I'm hoping to do some Let's Plays of titles to help get the word out there and to try and get people interested in the work everyone here does. I tried my hand at it but coding, event planning and all the general work that goes into any given title was waaaaay beyond the scope of my abilities. I'm an ideas man! :P

But I'll be checking RMN daily to see what's latest to make sure I'm right in the thick of newest titles coming out. If nothing else, I want to help in keeping the creators motivated!

You'll go far here if you stick to it, plus you'll get more makerscore from reviewing games than creating them, unless you're really good :P

Check out my games if you want! They are getting on in age but I'd always love more feedback or outside views. I'm currently working on a commercial game and any insight on my past works helps my future works. :)

But anyways, you're a welcome addition to RMN and we definitely appreciate your support as we can always use more reviewers and helpful users.

Ironically, I have one of your games already! "Infection" - I made the mistake playing this while dead tired and once I left the initial building, I nope'd hard from my fatigue. Horror titles are my weakness, but this was an survival horror RPG so I jumped in anyway! Going to be pushing through for a full playthrough soon, though. :P Love the atmosphere of the game, though - figured I'd point that out. Nailed the 'bleakness' of an apocalypse.

Hey there Punk and welcome to RMN! I must admit, yours is probably the flashiest introduction I've seen on this site! (although I'm pretty new to the site myself, barely 2 months old)

I hope you can further enjoy the communities creations and give useful feedback, even if a game is total garbage.

I'll check out the welp forum when I get a bit of shut-eye. I've been steadily gaming and working on creating my website (which is really just a glorified gamer/nerd/otaku tumblr, but eh, free is free and wonderfully sweet!) but I think I'll swing on by and chill with everyone. :D

Aww, heh. I'm afraid all I'm skilled at is writing and generating ideas. :3 I'm good at picking out songs that go well with a scene, but otherwise I'm kind of a glass cannon in every other area of life outside of gaming, music and other geekdom. :P But hey! If anyone needs an idea man, I've plenty of that to spare!

Heh, my wife encourages me to spend time here. :P Says that meeting game devs, musicians and other creators would help inspire me to taaaaake hold of the reigns and make something myself. Maybe one day! But, lemme tell ya, I've a HUGE collection of titles to wade through so I can get familiar with people's work.



I mean, here's some that I've picked out. I'm constantly checking the game page for more, too. :3 I take suggestions (though I royally suck at platformers and horror titles....buuuuuuuuuut, you can tell I have one or two horror titles downloaded).

Also a bit a file-neat freak. lol
