COTTON MAFIA (CONGRATULATIONS!)

I'd be okay with a shinan lynch just all of his posts are metagame stuff talking about the murder everyone thing, and then he has one jokevote. nothing of actual substance. 'nothing of substance' would subscribe more than one player

As a reminder we have like 6 hours here.

Okay, here's my day 1 scum list:

1. Kloe: participates when she's on, doesn't seem reserved or restrained-I think she's town.
2. CAVE_DOG_IS_BACK: seems to be acting normal, but he's clearly following a pattern so that he looks the way he always does. I'm not sure about him
3. InfectionFiles: Interesting that he suggested odd might have rolled scum twice in row when odd, so far hasn't rolled scum once, this game notwithstanding. Fruedian slip, as psy suggests? I'm leaning towards scum on him.
4. Hexatona: has all of the appearance of a competent player inspite of being new. Is overly eager to follow suggestions. Participates well, but is stingy with her observations. Might be scum, but could also be simply new town. Merits keeping an eye on.
5. Psy_wombats: Seems his usual self, hasn't posted as often as I might usually expect. Looks town, so far.
6. OzzytheOne: Having seen him play scum, I now see how much more confrontational he is as town. He doesn't employ as much logic as he does intuition to his comments about other players. I'm inclined to suggest he's town, this time.
7. LockeZ: He's really unpredictable. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people until crime stopped. I think our bloodthirsty gammak doctor is town.
8. oddRABBIT: Seems to be trying to be more active. We've seen in the past that the more he talks, the more he reveals. This is a habit that is only broken with time and practice, though CAVE could well be right about him. I'm leaning town.
9. Yellow Magic: My scumdar is pinging on him. He's usually very difficult to read do a certain indifference with regard to the way he interacts with other players, however much of his recent interaction with Shinan is cause for concern. Could be town, but I'm leaning scum.
10. Gourd_Clae: He almost seems to dance through conversation. He always has the perfect response, and he's not as aggressive as I've seen. Looks town, but might flip scum.
11. ivoryjones: Have not seen enough of her, so far. She doesn't interact a whole lot usually, but she's more active in game than this. She's worth keeping an eye on. Could be a low-lying scum, but I'm not confident of my reading.
12. Shinan: As usual, he's all over the map. Difficult to read at the best of times. Almost everything he says can't be taken at face value. Still, he's said a few things that should definitely raise some eyebrows. I'm not as comfortable calling him scum as I'd like to be, but he's my best bet, at the moment.

Oh wait I totally forgot Ivory - they posted like 5 times tops...

YM, I refer to your interaction with Shinan on the previous page where you seem to entertain the mass-murder idea. Even if it's a joke, the whole exchange seems strange.

Also, thanks for asking me. If you hadn't, I wouldn't have thought to check through the rest of your posts.

Your writing seems manufactured because you made a lynch, said you were not feeling it and then cancelled in the very same post.

I understand your reasoning here, but it feels aggressive. After all, we've all done this from time to time. In fact, LockeZ does something very similar in this very game, and has done it several games. I've done it in multiple previous games. I've seen a number of other players do it. I've seen CAVE do it. I've seen you do it in previous games. What makes Ozzy special enough to warrant a lynch vote?

Thing is, both Ozzy's and LockeZ's posts in question were joke posts.

this is where we're missing each other. I can't tell if ozzy's post is a jokepost. YM thought that ozzy's post was real and lockez was an obvious joke. that's the difference.

Aren't all posts joke posts. It's all about who jokes in the right way.

Alright I haven't kept up with how the votes are right now, but am I correct in assuming that we still only have guys on one vote against them?

True enough, but ivory's post is equally irreverent, but in that post, she legit votes for YM, and that vote is still in place. YM, instead of questioning her, decides to go after Ozzy's post immediately after, which is clearly a joke reply to ivory, and DOESN'T place a vote without any form of reasoning beyond "destoy Yellow Magic". It looks reactionary and retaliatory and if I were to retaliate against anyone, I'd retaliate on ivory.
