JITTERY WHEN HUNGRY?

My motto is if you're sick or something's wrong, eat lots of icecream but maybe not this time? Idk though, I'd take Soozy's advice personally, I'm not sure at all about Feld's, sorry Feldy.

Then look it up yourself!
Is this real life??? I'm not saying some strange, arcane shit here. If someone doesn't already know this stuff, fine, I'm not making fun of anybody here, but the mantra of "consume fibers, protein, and healthy fats to aid in carbohydrate digestion (or just in general, since the average diet is woefully deficient in all of these)" is some pretty basic stuff that's verifiable with a Google search.
"i dunno man that's some shifty ass advice"
Then look it up yourself, and verify! That's what you should already be doing with everything that's been said here. Some of you are making the presumption that TC is an idiot that's going to go out and eat a wildebeest and die because some dude on the internet told him to eat more protein, which is really an insult to him, more than anything. I instead presume that the TC is not an idiot that can sort of which advice we're giving him adjusts to his lifestyle and diet and will adjust accordingly, and if unsure, will ask questions and do more research.

While I am confident enough in my background to give general advice on what/how to eat, it was established early in this topic that none of this is professional nutritional advice. You're not Phantasmi's doctor either.
I am a person who has had lifelong issues with low blood sugar, sharing what has, in my experience, helped, gained via the advice of a medical professional.

Great.
I am a person who studied nutrition in college, and also joined the military and took additional classes in nutrition and also served as a Command Fitness Leader in the United States Navy, in which some of the sailors I led also had issues with low blood sugar.
In short, neither of us are doctors.

yeah, I've definitely experienced this myself. when you're super hungry, stuff's not great! unity's point is also a good one -- when you haven't had much to eat, stuff like caffeine and sugar are generally going to have more of an effect on you in small amounts.
^ this is 90% of the time why my silly students shake. i throw peanut butter crackers at them and tell them to stop smoking and drinking mtn dew
if it is fairly consistent, see a doctor. if you're concerned aobut your intake of soda, keep a daily journal of your intake. it can help you realize that you're drinking too much, or that maybe the problem is elsewhere.
some adhd medications don't help matters but if you're noticing it while hungry, you should just try to structure your intake and daily schedule more. assuming you're still in school, maybe bring a snack for second period or something
but also rmn is probably not the best place to get health advice

I know I get mad shaky when I'm dehydrated because I sweat in the bathroom because it doubles as a sauna during the summer.
I had this for a short while. To me, it was the coup de grace as health wake up calls go.
Basically, I ate a lot of junk food and didn't exercise worth a damn. Big bags of Kettle™ chips and cheezies were my biggest vice. Looking at the symptoms of these hunger pangs online, I decided that I was diabetic. I realize this isn't something you decide, but I adjusted my lifestyle around rectifying my hypothetical borderline diabetes condition anyway. It seems to have worked. All I did was cut out the junk food, add this salad I'm now sick of to my diet, and started hitting the gym three times a week. No more jittering problems.
If my situation sounds like yours, give it a shot.
Otherwise, I don't know. I guess try your luck with a doctor? My family doctor retired a couple of years ago and everyone I've tried since landed somewhere between quack and low-life. Med school must be lowering it's bars.

I once had too much coffee, and when I was trying to sleep that my teeth would chatter back, and forth.
It was a weird experience.

The heading butts here is strange.
As a direct help carbs are considered best. As in - you get jittery, go get that sandwich out asap.
However, having more fat, protein and fiber can help you last longer so you don't get jittery in the first place eating your normal meals. It's also a healthy addition. Just as a better spread of meals can help with that as well (many like to skip breakfast, for example).
I don't see the contradiction here, just make sure you give proper context. There's nothing wrong with a carb-heavy diet (just uh, cut low on that sugar, please), even if some people don't do too well with it. Just as adding some protein, and fiber is a fine thing to do, try it out, there usually is indeed too little of it readily accessible in the usual stuff.
Some people can also have a problems with too much fat (problems processing n stuff. For me I even need pills or I won't do much. Of anything, but fat especially. It also so happened that it did a blow to my blood sugar levels. And diabetes was out time n again).
So see what does well for you and if it's a continous and/or strong problem, as others said, go to the doc. None of us here is a doc. Nothing to lose there, only to gain.
Take good care of yourself, alright? It's a huge burden on your body if you ignore such things, so it's good you ask around a bit.

I appreciate the advice and concern guys, I really do, but it's really not much an issue, as this is kind of rare, and it ended immediately after I had my plate. If it reoccurs or some other type of situation happens then perhaps I'd check on it with a doctor, but I'm fine, really.

NO YOU'RE DYING
My current horror project will probably kill me before some physical health issue does
Well, I'm not sure about the shaky thing, but stopping to drink soda (mineral water only for the past 2 years now) and starting to eat lots of vegetables definitely improved almost all my health issues (even back problems).
The main effect of "too much sugar" for me was feeling incredibly hungry and my stomach growling all day, even though I ate enough. And towards the end, always feeling sleepy and sick. But being real hungry can make me shaky too I guess.
