Close So, what is everyone's thoughts regarding the recent destruction of Samsung's fabled Note 7?
Just today, I read an article about Samsung filing a bogus copyright claim on the YouTube video which showcases the GTA V mod where Note 7s replace the in-game grenades.

The copyright claim story is news to me, though not at all surprising.
Regardless, exploding phones are all kinds of baffling. How they got past QA is beyond me, and the response from Samsung of "Don't use the phone you just spent $800+ (price?) on," is just sad. Not too sure what's left to talk about other than a general "stay away from getting new phones just because they're new."

How nice of the phone to click submit before exploding.
I use an old Samsung Mega and in the summer it runs really hot. So this news scared me for a bit and then I'm like "well, so long as I don't buy the latest fanciest thing and stick with the tried-and-true thing, my hands won't get shrapnelled."
