I'm a fan of pixel art too, and this map was inspired by classic games like Resident Evil/Biohazard! :)
Yeah, those tilesets are just so nice. I really like them too. Easy to use and edit and they look so good. Only thing I don't like about them is the shading of the trees, but the rest? Really neato~
One issue with your map, though - the side-facing cabinets would be on the wall with how they're set, due to how wide they are compared to the amount of floor space available. ^.^; Also, the chairs are missing pixels because of how the table is offset by a few pixels at the top, causing them to vanish. It's an easy enough thing to fix though, either by adding a part of the table to B-E chips or getting rid of the pixel offset for it. See the table in this map, for example.
Oh, and I do question the stairs since from the looks of it that part doesn't go up any in height (though I think you might be trying to use them as railing, maybe? Just, they have a slope to the front-facing ones (the darker part on the rail is it sloping up)).
Otherwise, not bad. >.<)b

Looks nice - I really love those colors you used! I think my only complaint would be that the fruit looks like it's pasted on top of the tree rather than hanging from it. :)

Hahaha you're totally right :P mostly because i've done exactly that thing XD glad you like the overall look by the way!
