"Mapping"

Zephyr Dreams is an unusual game. It is very much like an RMVX version of the first game EVERYONE made in RM2k when they were completely naive about game making and had no experience or preconceptions. You know, RTP, elemental towers, and a plot that involves saving the princess. What is unusual about this is that it was made by McDohl, the founder of the LEGENDARY #rm2k IRC channel and a community member for at least 8 years.

How could one so jaded produce a game so young? Well for one thing, I assume the 'VX' on the end of the title means this game is the remake of an old project. Possibly a very old project. Beyond that...

Well, to paraphrase something someone (I think Brandon Abley) said about another game (I think Kinetic Cypher), Zephyr Dreams is much closer to the TYPE of games that RMVX is "supposed" to produce than MOST games made in any RPG Maker.

Just what do I mean by that?

OKAY, FIRST OFF, NO PROMISES!

But, if there is something about your game, which you request, right here, for me to review, that catches my interest, I will do an SUPER DUPER in depth, entertaining, no holds barred AND REALLY INTELLIGENT review of it AND put that review up on this very website. If your game does not interest me, I will tell you up front (NOTHING PERSONAL, GUYS) so you do not get your hopes up.

Guys whose games I have already reviewed during the RELEASE A LOT event 2+ weeks ago, please don't ask me for any reviews, you already got yours, unless you're asking for a review of a different game, which is okay.

Also if there is a super-interesting or great game that you didn't make that you want me to review, I can do that too. Please focus on things I haven't played already- I have played most of the "major" games the community has produced since 2001 but I am sure there are a ton I haven't played. Obscure is good, irrelevant is bad. Capiche?
