Anyone who was Legion would be a fool to admit it in this day and age.

However, you know, I did frequent Ghostlight until it went down like the sinking ship it ultimately was, and I think there was a fairly substantial demo release of Backstage 2 at some point or another. I have no idea where to find it now, though.

Also I'm still a little interested in Rpgmaker after all these years.

I second this, and if I think about it even a little, it is QUITE a surprise. I always thought it was too much of a time sink, and/or giving away my craft (I'm trying to be a pro level fiction writer, folks) for free.

When I was in high school, I said I'd quit when I graduated High School; when I was in college, I said I'd quit when I graduated college. And here I am, an unemployed college graduate, and when I'm not hunting for a job I'm whiling away my days RPG Making. Too unbelievable. So a better topic/question for me is, why do I keep using RPG Maker and coming back to the indie scene? But the answer that definitely approaches the ineffable and hence the undefinable.

This site was created not long after the first Onyx was finished, so I just saw it as another place to advertise it. :p

To give others a glimpse of the madness that spirals around in my backwards brain.

Oh, you mean RMN, not game making; Well - I came here initially for the free game hosting; but what makes me stick around (lurk) is the events that promote actual game making and game playing. Release something is probably the single best event for the community as whole, far more so than empty contests with monetary prizes.

Release Something! is a sexy beast. Whoever thought that up and then runs it on a quarterly basis deserves a medal.

He should get a medal, then.

I come to RMN for ENGLISH PEOPLE (you cannot beat this assertion xD).

Backstage II Demo 2, for the curious. Additionally in that directory are the rest of Legion's releases in as current a state as GL ever had them.
