Before here (and after here because I made this account and completely forgot about it), I was at the forums on rpgmakerweb's. Did not like it. Gave a hello, no hello back and it appears that there are some numerous things I wasn't going to do well over there because I'm mentally disabled. But anyways, I noticed this place (again) and I felt like things would work out well over here. As you see on the subject title, I use RPG Maker 2003. Now since there are pirated versions, I assume that I need to show proof that I have a legal version in which I'll be happy to show just in case.
There is more I will say, but not now.

RMW is not bad, maybe people were just busy? Anyways, you could still make games with a pirated version (although you would not be able to sell your game commercially) I doubt anyone would twist your arm over it, seeing as how you have the legal version,

My game's demo is done. All that's left is a trailer and the file to be on MediaFire for everyone to download. When I come back, I'll post the video link and download link in the correct forum... wherever that is. XD

To put trailers and a download link for others to download you need to create a Game page by hovering over:
Submissions > Click Submit Game
then just fill out everything and wait for it to get approved.

Well, if you follow the guidelines then things should be fine. :)
Definitely read the submission rules as it is possible for your game to be denied but you should do fine, and if it happens to get denied just fix up the errors and clean it up; all that jazz.

While it isn't exactly encouraged, I don't think the site will call you out just for using the bootleg version. I mean, I'm sure there are still people out there who use that version around here.
Thr same stance goes for rips, and most other copyrighted stuff. So long as they aren't from your fellow devs, that is.

Yeah, it is not like everyone somehow magically knows if you are using a pirated version or not. I mean, we all want to make games right? For everyone to play for free.
