CloseSo it started snowing around 2pm today, and its still going strong. We have about 20cm of snow right now (18.2 furlongs for you american folks). I just finished raking the leaves and then it started snowing, too, so now I have to shovel the walk if I expect to drive tomorrow. At least it's not too cold - it's only abour 1 oC (918.21 oF).
How's the weather where you are? And how was everyone's Thanksgiving (for those of you living in places where Thanksgiving occurs just afte the harvest comes in)?

It was supposed to snow here today, but it didn't. I knew it wouldn't though- I can ussually smell it in the air a few days before the first snow.
Just rain and drizzle and fog and cold, all of which are also lovely.

Here it was 6 Celsius in the morning. A couple of days ago it was -6 though.
I just had my first of two thanksgivings. It was great! Went to my grandparents' place. They had home grown potatoes for the mashing, and then for desert, home grown rhubarb and strawberry pie (no, they didn't grow the whole pie!)

I have never heard an American use the term furlongs.

Where I live, in "upstate" New York (what anyone from NYC or most of the greater world calls any part of NYS besides NYC) we is havin' some Indian summer right now.

Eh, we here in southern sweden have had a clouded sun waking us up every morning. I hope for heavy snowfall this winter. The damn canadians always steal our snow, but this year...

Sunny California here. Bay Area... Perfect weather, as usual. (sunny, not too cold, not too hot)
It's good at my city, were breezy but you can still go outside and I just played Tennis the other day, almost perfect weather.
Never snows in my town. Actually had a 30*C day in the middle of Spring (two days ago) so Summer's gonna be a scorcher. Not looking forward to it.

Peaceful Frankfurt has cloudy, windy, cold day today. I don't know what temperature it is, but I know it's cold to me!
