Well, on my part, because if Demonlord's going to die, and I want to leave LockeZ alone until I know for sure Demonlord is the SK - I figured I'd get started on the rest of my list? I chose Blob because they seemed to be acting a bit off for this game, and were very active - two things I think point to possibly being the serial Killer.

Except LockeZ can't end the partnership, only the person caught can - and you can end partnerships in the partnership chat, which means nothing.
I don't think it would prevent partnering trihan. I know you can receive a request while in one. I imagine accepting one would auto-break the previous partnership.
demonlord doesn't actually have to die from the potato, by the way: if we all agree to keep passing it among living players, it won't explode. That said, that leaves us way open for someone to stab us in the back by refusing to accept it when it's passed from someone they want dead. Also as much as I wish I could win this without being a dick to you all the optimal play is to leave it with demonlord and watch the fireworks so it's out of play.
Blob: Hmm, I hadn't considered that. Is the previous partner informed that their partner ended the alliance?
I mean there's a pretty easy way you can tell: your chat will stop working. LockeZ, are you still in the chat with the SK?

so maybe lockez could confirm his partner solo'd? If not, demonlord is cleared.
Demon was going to die probably regardless. Which is why it's safer to leave the potato with him.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

OK. I am still partnered with the serial killer. So that's pretty damn definitive.

I don't have any kind of opinion about Blobofgoo. He's left basically no impression on me so far. I was concerned about psy, but his misunderstanding about what I said kinda makes sense. Ugh.
I guess a bandwagon is better than nothing. Gotta kill everyone eventually.

blob: LockeZ said his power meant that the SK was forced into an alliance with him. So anyone else who is in an alliance with another player cannot be the SK. Only the SK can end the alliance, but then LockeZ will know because he won't be able to use the chat any more.
So the basic idea is that if we all partner up with other players and confirm the alliance while LockeZ is still able to chat to the SK, we can eliminate people who it isn't.
