EDIT: HOLY CRAP GUYS. Every year, on my birthday, for the last five years, I have checked to see if there was any news on the Lennus II translation. There never was and I had given up on it and it is so sweet that the game was actually finished. This is a much bigger deal than Mother 3 for me!
EDIT 2: Yeah I checked Magic-Destiny and their last update on this game was in 2001. I can't believe it's done <3 <3 <3 <3

@TooManyToasters: The Reconstructed Caribou has a little over 500 HP. What you should use is Duster's Wall Staple to immobilise it (for 2/3 rounds) then proceed to smash the A button. Once it's recovered just use the skill again and repeat until it's owned.

Is Lennus 2 worth checking out? I haven't heard very much about it, other than the fact that it's the sequel to Paladin's Quest.
In other news, I've played about an hour of Mother 3, which has already transcended practically all of my expectations but which I'd like a lot more if I could actually rack up more than 2-hit combos in battle.

Mother 3 is amazing. It is everything I hoped it would be, and more. I'm in chapter 5 right now.
Combos are hard though. Most I've gotten is like 6. I need to get a flash cart or something.

I don't even know how to do a combo, so sometimes I do random stuff and hope it pressed the right amount of times!
Also, I just dropped all my weapons because I thought that the fang was going to be a weapon (as in ONE YOU CAN EQUIP) and I needed space to purchase that miniminicharmthing.

Protip: VBA with 0 frameskip while playing M3 = easy 11-hit combos.
At least when fighting enemies with obvious beats, like Mobile Graves.

When an enemy falls asleep the main music quiets down and the beat gets a lot louder. Abuse Duseter's pendulum in test battles to get practice music tracks. Thankfully its never mandatory, I never got higher than a 12 hit combo out of sheer luck and I never got them on any boss where it could've been handy.
