IF A POST I MADE WAS DELETED, WOULD I KNOW ABOUT IT?
Posts
I ask because, I'm not sure if I typed up the post and closed the browser before posting it or if I actually posted it and it was removed. I don't want to repost something that was removed, but I assumed if it were removed, I'd have been notified.
I think they would lock the thread if anything, so it's possible that it's on your end or even possibly the site didn't load it or something.

It's most likely the former. Bar the spam bots jumping into threads or the occasional accidental double post, we don't delete posts from members here. The most we typically do is just lock a thread and move it to the Archives subforum.
Every once in a while, though, the site is known to just eat a random post. It happened to me on my latest blog a while ago and I had to try and recreate everything I said as best as I could. It wasn't fun.
CTL+A -> CTL+C before every post. Your sanity will thank you later, haha!

Not if the deleter
then deleted you
then deleted you
I did in fact lock and archive a post you made earlier, but I assume you got notifications about it and could still read it?
author=unityI was wondering myself if that's what Zaen meant unless it's a unrelated issue xP

No notification. If there is a link somewhere, I can't find it. Anyway, that's fine.
Now i'm curious. D:
For future reference, you can look on your profile page for your previous posts and topics. If something you post disappears and you don't get a Notice, check there to see if it got replied to and locked. If it's not on your profile, let one of us know about it so that we can look into it. >.<)b

But what if, Liberty?
WHAT IF...

A forum i was in crashed one day from having so many threads on it, they had to purge most of the threads. I wonder if not eliminating anything would be healthy for this site in particular.

Well, we have PLENTY of spam threads to burn if need be.
Haha, I know it's the site's police and it has many uses.
I am still always okay with cleaning out old bad juju~

Far as I know, we have dedicated hardware for our data and backups are made regularly, so we have plenty of storage and nothing's going to the digital haze anytime soon.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

This is topic #22609. If there's a maximum number of topics, it's 65535, which means we're only a third of the way there. And the forum's been running for ten years. I think we're ok for a while.
author=LockeZI think statuses helped that number a lot haha
