And the community is supposed to be about game making. That is where it went wrong and continues to be wrong.

That is its primary focus. Make and play games. That is what this site is about. Community means nothing if you are not making or playing games.

I think what I'm saying is being misinterpreted to the degree that I understand that gamemaking is the most important part of the whole thing, and that's what everything is about. That's the theme of the whole thing, but it's not the only part.
Any community is more than just whatever the theme of the community is. A community is about people. People making connections, making friends, or even just making good conversation and discussion. Discussions involving personal beliefs, current events, what's going on in their lives, their favorite movies, or whatever. When a community gets bigger, those things improve and evolve as more people join the community and the already existing members grow closer and make new bonds. When we move on from gamemaking, and whatever happens to this site, the community is what stays. I've seen communities outlive the sites they were on by years, to the present day. It's about people, bonds, and good discussion. That's true for any community anywhere, from sports forums to anime clubs.
I mean, not to pick at you WIP, but you don't really get active in discussions about things, current events, ethics, cultural happenings, serious discussions, etc, and you don't really seem to care about other people (in the capacity that I mentioned above) in general. I mean, I don't mean that as an insult man, but that's what I'm talking about.

Including advertising, updates, comments and whatnot.
