Notes: The data here are slightly sloppy; I tended to assume that if a "he" or "she" pronoun was used, with no other pronouns or information, that the character was intended to be cis. I also assumed a purely hetero- or homosexual attraction in cases where a significant other was mentioned but no other information was given regarding sexuality.

I understand the difference between bisexual and pansexual, but for the sake of simplicity conflated them. (I think I also included characters described as "omnisexual" in this category.)

I only recorded individual traits, rather than things like how many homosexual guys vs homosexual gals; this would be interesting to check out, so I may go back sometime in the future and do it.

Remember to check the y-axis when comparing charts! The numbers of submissions varied quite a bit between colors.

I was kind of disappointed at the sheer volume of "unstated" in sexuality. :/

Yeah, but to be fair, if a character is tagged as non-cis, the creator probably figured they'd met the 'quota' for that character or just didn't give thought to it. Also, some of the characters might not know their sexuality just yet.

I recall from gathering the data that a lot of that wasn't really implied. I assumed people were just planning on covering it in their games, but it'd still be much cooler for a pride event to just go ahead and make it explicit. ;)

I left it unstated because i thought whoever used the character could have their own interpretations of them based on their design. Considering the point was to lgbticise it up I thought that was to be expected of all characters.

Also oh no more males in blue and more females in pink we are perpetuating colored gender roles NURRRRSEEEE
