Each game consists of several town aligned citizens and a small group of scum aligned mafia killers. The players must catch and lynch the killers in order to win.
I just got confirmation from piano himself that blue is a town powerrole, therefore, I am town. It's possible that the vessel is scum but has no contact with the rest of the scum team.

I kinda doubt this, actually. I do think you're town, but I don't think you have this information.
although I am usually persuaded by "my role pm says I am town," I fear that is not enough to convince me this time.

If the game is inspired with Megami tensei 2, I see sense in Pazuzu staff. There was suggested post-apocalyptic future too.
He's clearly the good guy here.
The other part of the summary sees Pazuzu as an enemy, tho.
I find it risky to kill Ozzy if the vessel is real. In that case it could be Cave and we would need to check it out. Plus wolves can't afford to have Ozzy around.
I'm more inclined to think that Pazuzu is the vessel and that cave will be save.

After defeating the Minotaur in the Devil Busters game, the hero finds a strange statue in the game and unseals it, revealing Pazuzu. Pazuzu reveals that he is a servant of God and that the hero and his friend are the Messiahs destined to save the world from the demons that came through a rift created during the nuclear war 35 years prior. Giving the hero a handheld computer and the Demon Summoning Program, Pazuzu warns about demons invading the shelter before departing. Once they reach the surface, Pazuzu commands that the two join with his servant Orthrus at the Princess Hotel in Shinagawa, and head to the ruins of Tokyo Tower after a witch who betrayed him. The witch reveals that Pazuzu is simply using the two to gain power over Bael and the hero agrees with her, causing the friend, who is still loyal to Pazuzu, to depart with Orthrus. It is later revealed that Pazuzu is truly aligned with God and the other demons view him as a traitor because of this. The hero and the witch end up having to defeat and behead him in order to pass onwards.

Metagaming is going a bit too far. I can't help but feel that people are taking my wrist slap of odd's, admittedly, barely an offense, considering I have the town role PM posted in the OP, as a green light to go off the rails. I'd like everyone to stop baiting each other into making role PM violations.

I'd much rather have Pazuzus eyes investigate Ozzy tonight than lynching him tonight. Right now I think our best bet for a lynch would be Psy or Dudesoft.
well, unfortunately I can't control what pazuzu wants and don't even know the host of actions they have or how many times they can do them. all I know is that from a game balance viewpoint, it doesn't make sense to me for ozzy and i to be the same alignment. unless i am missing 99% of the information in this game.

I don't see how cave's role can't coexist with Ozzy's role. It sounds like there are two threats:
1 - scum finds the vessel and possesses them for a full day
2 - scum kill off town (the normal win condition)
Ozzy deals with #1, the cop deals with #2.
I find Ozzy's claim mostly believable because yeah that is definitely not what I'd choose to lie about and my guess is that even if he's scum that majority of that information is accurate. Cave's seems a lot more dubious. I don't believe something called Pazuzu is town-aligned in an exorcist-themed mafia game. Which would lead me to believe either 1) cave is lying, or 2) pazuzu's information is garbage coming from the moderators and cave is actually town-aligned but basically "possessed" into saying garbage. And I'm not sure who would tell Cave to spread the word of Pazuzu -- except for moderators or Cave. His behavior early in this game sounded pretty typical of cave and I really would not of guessed he had a role.

It only seems necessary in order to push a lynch on Ozzy, which would only make sense in a scenario where CAVE is the vessel who was just infected last night, and will win if he's not blown up by Ozzy tonight. So I really think Ozzy should scope out CAVE tonight.

why do people keep repeating psy/dudesoft anyway.
it would be nice to get some hard stances on what people actually believe. do you believe pazuzu is town or not? Do you think that one player is both a vig that can only kill one person in the game, who is not town, thus making them a vig and a cop? are destiny spirit and pazuzu the same thing?

Or something else plausible: the eyes and mouth of Pazuzu are town-aligned and operate independently of Pazuzu. Someone on scumteam is Pazuzu and gets to send both of them bogus messages though. I could see maybe scum-LockeZ/Gourd/Ebeth sending "spread the word of pazuzu!" to torment cave. That'd probably be what I'd do.
I think Pazuzu and the destiny spirit are two different things. I think Pazuzu and co are all town roles that are just operating in a confusing way. I think Ozzys claim is probably legit as well and their must two possible win conditions for scum. I think scum either needs to kill enough town via possession or successfully
possess the vessel.

I don't buy at all that pazuzu is town given that someone showed up as POSSESSED in red. And it's exorcist-themed anyway, demons of possession should be scum.
Given that it sounds like the spirit-of-destiny vs vessel battle is just an alternate scum win condition it makes sense to me to have both a cop and a vessel-only vig. The vessel has to be neutral. If someone is the vessel, they should step forward so Ozzy can blow them up -- the role is anti-town.
