RPG Maker XP is being a jerk -_-
I need to be able to swap party members without penalty - doing so now resets them everytime I do it. is there a script or some way to let out-of-party characters keep their equipments and exp?

In the "Add Party Member" Event options box, there is a "Initialize Party Member" check-box. Uncheck it and you should be good.

I thought it set that character as the character that moves around the screen >_<
But yes, I shoulda caught it.
