HOW DO YOU GIVE MAKER SCORE TO SOMEONE FOR HIS MEDIA?

Guileless87 made a letsplay of Red Balloon of Happiness. I added it as media for the game and apparently, I'll get MS points but not him. Is there a way Guileless87 receives the MS he deserves?
There are a lot of videos of my games I have found on the internet that were never added as media to RMN. (Some of which aren't on YouTube or even in English.) I sometimes make a blog about it so people can watch the video, but I never submit it myself, even though I'm sure the Chinese one is never making it here.
Google search your game's name and video results and you can sometimes see videos of your games not submitted to RMN.
Personally I submit the let's plays I do as soon as YouTube accepts them. That usually doesn't give people time to find it prior to RMN accepting the media.
On a side note, I still find 15 MS a small amount for submitting a video. While it doesn't need to meet the same criteria as a review, it's still takes time to make them and upload them.

Media covers a large set of contribution types: concept art, soundtrack, video... So the associated maker score is inevitably too small for some contributions and too much for others.
15 MS is too small for a video, if you compare it to 50 MS for a review
15 MS is too much for a concept art, if you compare it to 1 MS for a screenshot
The MS earned for a media submission should depend on its type.

Some videos are 10 seconds long. Some are an hour. It's impossible to judge. On top of that, there's no way to tag difference with the current way things are set up. It's a blank 15 for any media.
Besides, I'm sure some artists would say that 15 MS doesn't equate to 20 hours of work that well, especially in comparison to a video recorded in just 1 hour and uploaded with no edits.
It's for the item in general, not for effort in creating that item. The reason that MS is higher for reviews is to both encourage and reward people who are not the developer for engaging and giving their thoughts on a game. A lot of media is made by or put up by the creator themselves.
