[RMVX ACE] "FLOATING CITY"

Would like some instruction on making a floating city. The airship never seems to have enough room to land if there is a building on the graphic. I am trying to have a cloud graphic with a building on it. You, also, can't fly up to the building as they are on different planes. Also noticed that if you walk on the graphic, you can walk directly onto the ground below. Thanks

Are we talking about something like the cloud-city graphics in the "Field" tile-set, or are we talking something more like a city/town map that uses a cloudscape for a parallax background?

That aside, the airship cannot land in a place that is otherwise impassible, or on events. So, depending on where, exactly, on the building you're trying to land, it might consider that/those tile(s) as "impassible", and the airship would not land.

If players can walk "below" a tile, that indicates to me that the tile either has a star passability in the database, or is an event that is located "Above Hero".
I was using the cloud graphic from the field tilesets. I can land on it,but, with a building on it, I can't. There isn't room for the airship shadow.
