Probably because it is one of the most successful platforms in videogame history. I dunno just throwing that out there.

That being said, this is now something I am now looking forward to. I'm all for games like these getting revived again in a new sequel. And Bahamut Lagoon was awesome.

I didn't really enjoy Bahamut Lagoon. It had some neat concepts, but the idea of feeding hard-earned items to dragons to make them more powerful didn't really appeal to me.
Still, that concept art made my head explode.

That picture reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus. Never could play through Bahamut Lagoon though.
Come to think of it it does look like SotC :o

sweet! I hope it comes out soon. Bahamut Lagoon was my fav game for super nintendo. I hope they didn't change too much. When I played, I would get all my dragons stats to 100 and life and mana to 9999. I would just let my dragons destroy everything and not have to do anything.

1-4 Players, too, looks like. But it says Wireless, not Nintendo WFC, so it's probably not online.

Still, I'm not sure it's a Bahamut Lagoon sequel. Where are you seeing that? The battle videos remind me more of FF12: Revenant Wings.

Every translation I've ever played for Bahamut Lagoon was pretty horrible, so I never really got into the game. i like tactical games, so i'll probably end up giving it a try if it gets an english release.
