Closehey Im kind of new to rpgmaker. Could someone tell me how to make a screen where I can allow the player to enter a name of their own choosing?

Though, In any maker ... I think there is a Enter Hero Name Command, in the event commands
I'm using XP. I can figure out how to assign a name to my hero, but I want to be able to let someone else playing my game to choose a name for themselves, can I do that?

True, but RM2k never works unless you use some sort of patch.

No, It's XP. I only have XP and VX nowadays. Though, I might go back to Rm2k3.
For proof, VX menu layout is different and look under the "Return to Title Screen".
