BEST ARC FROM ONE PIECE?

As the huge anime fan I am, I couldn't resist it and had the impulse of making a topic of one of my favourite shows, heh, heh.
I really like One piece, and with the new episode that came out today (870),I've wondered about what was the best season of the entire show.

In my opinion, that season would be Enies Lobby; it has everything I like from the show! A big quantity of hard and exciting battles, a well done drama about one of the most interesting characters (with an amazing backstory), a compelling plot and a lot of humour.

What is your opinion on this subject? What season you think is the best?
I'm partial to the triad of Skypeia, Water 7, Enies Lobby, though I've a special place in my heart for Arlong Park and War of the Best arcs too.

I'm biased towards the tiny Zou arc just for making the series furry involved, but it's not my favourite.

The Baroque Works Saga is probably my favourite part of the entire series thus far. Basically all I think about when I think about classic One Piece.

Favourite Arc, though... That's hard. I really enjoyed Whole Cake Island and I'm in love with the recent pacing and tone changes it brought on, continuing into the Wano Arc. Perhaps those are just fresher in my memory though. Hard to not love the ongoing arc when its going so well.

I'd say some of my favourite arcs, besides what I mentioned, have been Whiskey Peak, Drum Island, Marineford, Jaya, Impel Down (special mention for including stylish and non-transphobic okamas) and Syrup Village.

Basically what I mean is that it would be easier to talk about the arcs I don't like :P
Acts not liked?

FUckinG FoxY. EVERYThinG to DO witH FoXY.

Even Luffy with an afro can't save that arc for me, which is a pity because I like the idea of a Davy Back fight but ugh. I hate that guy. I'm not even 100% sure why (yes I am. Oh a short arc in the manga with some asshole jerk whose sole good point was the brief fight with Luffy in an afro suddenly made twice as long in the anime and then they also brought him back in a filler arc because fuck us. Why couldn't we have Baroque Works opening a chocolatery instead, huh? Or Ace meeting that one cute milk maid? It had to be an other Foxy? Seriously? orz)

I enjoyed the Arabasta arc, expect that there was a lot of plot armor, literally in every fight :p. My least favourite arc would be Foxy's arc; It didn't felt like One piece at all!

I hate that arc too, XD. The first time I saw it in the anime as a kid, I thought it was filler, but then when I read the manga... Dear lord...
I am the best Arc from anything.

Foxy is a mixed bag for me. I enjoyed parts of it, I liked the setting of Long Ring Long Land, but it felt the most like filler out of all the main arcs.

That being said, Foxy's character got a little redemption in the Nebulandia special. They played him a lot better there, definitely worth a watch.

I think besides that the only arcs I really didn't enjoy were Thriller Bark and Dressrosa.

I'm in a similar boat as roden in that I have an easier time identifying which arcs I didn't like because there are fewer than the arcs i loved.

However, I enjoyed the water 7 arc a bit more than the others, Marineford was amazing, and recently the whole cake island arc was great and so far the wano arc is going very well. Thriller bark was a chore and dressrosa as well. I also didn't particularly like fishman island, I think that's when I stopped watching the anime out of sheer boredom. The manga had a quicker pace. Punk Hazard was also kinda meh.

Shout out to the release schedule of the manga that has slowed down a lot which is a bit sucky but eh whatever.

I think what bothers me the most about Dressrosa compared to other arcs is that it had so much potential, introduced so many great characters and gimmicks, and did have really good moments, but... It was just too overblown. Took to long to get through, and all the ass pulling got really tiring after a while. There's no conflict or tension when Doflamingo has already "died" like 10 times and now Luffy is fighting him for the second time.

I still wholeheartedly believe that as awesome as the Gear 4 reveal was, Law's Gamma Knife should have been the end of that fight. Even in the OP universe, Doflamingo being able to stitch his own organs back together without even looking at them is way too much of an asspull.

Lately in the reveal of lord orochi when he asked all geishas to raise their heads it was fucking funny how you can barely tell each other apart jesus christ.

Specially the one that's supposed to be the most beautiful it's like shit she looks the same as the others.
