CloseI used to have a zip file of a bunch of sound effects of various japanese battle cries for the first star ocean game on the SNES. They were broken up very well so I could have battle cries for my characters, does anyone know where I can find such voices?

Hey, are your characters Japanese? Is your games set in Japan? Is the rest of the dialog in Japanese?

Armisael191: Download and play "Shrine of Kammuki", off RMN's gamelist. Then tell me it's a good idea to use Japanese voices and cries in your games!
Sorry if some people don't use them well. I used them well once in a game that I was making, and I lost all my data. Now I'm looking for them again.

No, it's really an anti-Japanism thing I have in RM games, Armis. It's just something people do too much in games, is all.
You know what would really impact your games? Doing your own voicework for them. Please don't take it as criticism, I do encourage you to try the less used approach, however.

I'm starting to get an itch to make a game actually set in Japan, just to see if Japanization can be done properly.

Yes, the "Ha!" sounds are the ones I am talking about. I don't want japanese dialogue, just battle cries/yells for my characters attacks. English would be fine too.
Asalieri, sorry if I offended you, I understand what you mean. I don't intend on making my game japanese in any way. I just want some battle cries, heck even the ones from PSU would be fine. It just so happens that the only battle cries I've ever found were only japanese and those were from star ocean. Sorry I mistook what you said and I COMPLETELY understand what you meant about it being over done and not working well.
Rasta, may I get those sounds? I would LOVE to have them.

Sorry, you're probably right. I just thought better to critique now than once they've worked hours and hours on putting these sounds into the game and make a demo release and then I'd be like: hey those stupid japanese voices/sounds are stupid, take them out.
