WHAT CHARACTER DO YOU CHOOSE

I choose whichever character type has the most options available. I like to be able to enjoy more than one play style or have access to many different commands. In most RPGs that is a magic-using character of some variety.

1st place: 2-handed swordsman with a focus on strength and heavy armor. Lots of sword skills, relies on power, not finesse.

This character class sounds suspiciously like a barbarian ......

I kinda like the quick melee classes
Fighters who use there fists is a good example.

I like classes with well-rounded skill sets, some combo-ability, and preferably a weapon that hits from a notable distance, whether short-range (Dragoon) or long-range (Gunner of some kind). Even with those things, though, I'm somewhat vain and I might not like a class if the usual get-up for the character looks silly.

Any unique class would definitely get me to play as them. Otherwise, I'd probably go for a healer type (not a pure healer, or else I get really mad) mages would be 2nd on the list, whereas melee-types...They're last on the list. Can't stand being fighters, rogues, etc. Since it doesn't seem to be my playstyle.
