Hello! I'm Poofi-cat.
I'm a digital artist with interest on game indurstry and game development related stuff.
I have been working for 5 years as an artist in Capra Works, a small game development group, where I have contributed to:

❥ Prices for personal use (non-comercial and private use)
! The price do not contain complex background. For a complex background add around +10€ or more (depending on complexity)
! The price is calculated for one character
❥ Chibi - 5€
❥ Bust - 10€
❥ Halfbody / 3/4 body - 15€
❥ Fullbody - 20€
❥ Sprites
❥ Chibi: 8 euro

(prices are by set. 1 set = 5 facial expression, 1 outftin, 1 pose, 3 hand pose, 1 hirestyle)
Additionals:
Additional expression: 5 euro (2 euro for chibi)
Additional hand pose: 7 euro (3 euro for chibi)
Additional outfit: 50% from the base price
Additional hairstyle: 10 euro
New pose: is considered other pose
Prices for professional use (commercial use)
For commercial use the prices might range based on the project's duration and complexity, or the aimed purpose of the work.

When your commission is accepted, the following process will be started:
Sketch - your feedback / review on it - Lineart and Base Color - your feedback / review on it - Final Results
There are only two ways of payment:
50/50 = where you pay 50% of the drawing's total price after the sketch is decided, and the 50% rest of the price at the end of the drawing.
Full Price = where you can pay full price after the sketch is fully decided, and you will have nothing to pay anymore at the end of the drawing

❥ Important:
- payment via paypal only
- During the creation of the commission, the client must keep constant contact with the artist, otherwise your commission will be canceled.
- I reserve the rights to re-post, publish and edit as a preview the created commission. It will be featured with a description explaining for who was made the commission for.
- the client does not have the right to re-sell the drawing/artwork or any art related content created by me

Really? This is a website for making video games. A person willing to spend money on a commission is likely to want to sell their game.

I have already mentioned that this rule applies differently for projects, I'm well aware that commercial licence works differently for project based commissions.

Having worked professionally on art stuff I'm just gonna say that these prices are insanely low, and it shouldn't be a surprise that the artist would want to negotiate something else for projects with the aim of making money.

In my experience getting commissions, its extremely common for artists to have separate rates for free and commercial projects. Given that the majority of the devs here don't go commercial, I don't think this is as big a deal as you're making it.
This is some pretty amazing art right here. I especially like the "screen-breaking" cover art at the top.
