I'm sorry if I sounded that way. I really am enjoying the game and I appreciate the effort you've put into it. I won't say any more about it.
So anyway, like I need to go to sleep kind of two hours ago. I preemptively apologize to the players who come on while I'm asleep and have to deal with the fact that we've kind of decided to lynch Cap despite his claim of a bulletproof item.
But I really do think this is the right decision. I think this is a bluff, either the item doesn't do what he says it does, or he doesn't even have such an item.

Will that really help us? He could lie, and it could be a lie either way. He could say it doesn't end the day to convince us to lynch him when it really will end the day and he really can't be killed. Alternatively, he could say that it will just immediately end the day when it really won't, to scare us into not trying to lynch him.

If he's town and the day ends when we lynch him trying to "test" him then, well, that was dumb. Although, I guess, I do still think he's most likely to be scum, even if I'm feeling slightly better about him, in which case trying to kill him is the correct call regardless of whether the day ends or not. I'm also going to sleep but will be back by EOD.

Oh it fits perfectly, for sure, but a better strategy for me this game would've been to say nothing and just play the tuba.
@Cap: I think that's 3/5 votes. Do you know what happens if you get daykilled while under cakeprotection? does the day end or just the hammer not fall?
re: cap claiming a lynchproof item that actually does something else: if it's a trap it's one we would've hit anyway trying to kill him regardless

Piano, the game's a lot of fun! Insulting the setup is a common practice, when not playing mountainous.
Hm, from the last page or so and PSY's categorical denial of doubting Jeroen, I get the feeling there are two wolves left. Jero and Psy. Now, It's about figuring out how to win in this situation.
If there's any way to protect Odd, we should always lynch Jero here. The truth, either confirmation of Jero's words or something different, would help us to solve it tomorrow.

My push on Odd was to get him to claim and force the game into open lylo to ensure town couldn't lynch me. Scum would want to kill Odd while he was still unclaimed with that paper bag item potentially in play.

Scum wins when agents are dead and at least one scum is alive. Town wins when scum are dead and at least one agent is alive. Where exactly is there room for a true survivor here? It'd have to be worded as "all threats are eliminated" or something.

You can complain about my role being game-breaking, but ultimately, my role IS the setup. It functions the same as it did in the first Spy vs Mafia, so I don't see what about it is so unbelievable.

Ok, I put some effort in reading the previous game and now I see that Tangled Lion was an unaligned character as you describe.
Ofc there's a possibility of adjustments in setup, but your claim makes sense now. I don't get your victory condition, but that doesn't matter.
And I remember being too thickheaded to accept the weird rules of Piano's Digital Devil Saga inspired game and town lost that game because of that. For that reason, I decided to vote the only other person, which looks informed.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

FYI, the item I have has a passive effect and can't actually be "used." I would assume that a bulletproof cake works the same way, if it actually exists. It probably doesn't though, and the mere claim of such at this point in the game is almost enough to make me seriously consider switching to Cap_H. Claiming to be unkillable in order to direct lynch votes away from you is classic scum desperation.
The seemingly-legitimate misunderstanding of Jeroen's neutral role this late in the game is making me back off a bit though.

I want people's opinions on this. Do you really think that misunderstanding is legitimate? It feels like flailing to me, especially because he claims things that contradict each other.

I'm unable to tell if cap_h's misunderstanding is legitimate. He earlier townread me for "copping Fomar" despite I think it being pretty clear that I just tuba'd and didn't target Fomar, and that was discussed multiple times. I'm starting to think he just really hasn't been paying attention. I don't see how jeroen's victory condition is hard to understand though.
@Odd: can you name your item and exactly what it does? While I fully buy that PA didn't pass a timebomb so as to not kill an agent, but it's not clear to me how you'd be able to know his motivations.
@jero: why didn't Maxwell consider Odd in his agent list if you'd already pointed out exactly what he was doing with that early tell post?
