I wanted to let them speak, because if they did get a PM from me they're probably town. However y'all were so goddamn ninja on this Fomar train thing. Gourd could sacrifice fomar as his teammate by lynching him and if one more person lynched him i'd probably be killed overnight following hammer hence the urgency.

I was gonna say, you kinda let the cat out of the bag a bit early here, but that will only let us check one person, unless you can easily tell people to post the first sentence, second sentence...

They can't actually quote it but they can certainly say what might have been in it and how it was communicated. I will say, my power might block your radio ommissions, though. Are those the only three who haven't replied?

On the subject of giant scumlists:

On the Avalon game that Jeroen ran, in deadchat, Jeroen jokingly said that Cave once said that only scum makes giant scumlists on day 1. I laughed, but it got me to thinking: I had made giant scumlists as town, but not all the time, not every game, not consistently. As scum, however, I ALWAYS made a giant scumlist. Just the fact that I know I'm more consistent with scumlists as scum than I was with town made me realize that Cave, if he said it, and I seem to personally recall him saying something like that, had a point. Now, Gourd didn't give any alignment reads in his scumlist but I think we can all agree that that was one merry mother of a scumlist.

Now, when he made it, I thought that his diligence in even color-coding the usefulness of the individual comments, he had to be town, right? I let it go then, but now people are talking about it. Here's the problem. I might be that diligent as town. I might not. I promise that if it had occurred to me, I absolutely would have been that diligent as scum. Does this make him scum? Not necessarily. Like I said, I made big honking scumlists as town, so it's not a real scumread, but it IS something to give some thought to. It's not exclusive to scum, but from personal experience, scum are more likely to do it.

Just as an FYI, we are sitting at a 4 votes on Fomar, and 1 at Gourd. Anyone could rush a quick kill here.

I'm pretty sure that I've done the colour-coded town list as a townie before. It just makes it that much prettier and easier to parse. I'd probably say that non-colour-coded ones are more scummy. Why be extra helpful to town when you can hope they overlook blatant stuff.

Yeah, I'm not saying that you have to be scum to do that. I'm just saying there are certain things that you do as town but don't always do. When you're scum, certain things you do stick in your memory and you make sure you do them as scum every single time.

My main issue with Gourdy's list was the fact that it left some stuff out and was worded a bit ambiguously. We should look back at what he had to say about Himself, Cap, Fomar, Ozzy and Emily.

Yeah, I was impressed he had read his own posts, so I didn't look at it as hard as I probably should have.

I mean, it's cave. He's always lying, except when he's claiming to be the fucking Tenkai star in his first post, then he's not lying.
