The game install is pretty nice, I installed Oblivion. Took it about 10 minutes or so, and loads a bit quicker. Takes up a lot of room though.
The interface ok, I am still messing with it, but I am not 100% sure how much I like it yet.
How do you install games btw?
Put the disc of the game you wish to install in, and go to My Xbox, where it shows the game that is in. Press "Y", and it should come up with some options, and select install to hard drive.

OK I just installed it, but it still requires the disk ... so what's the point?

No It is good yes, but I was expecting to be able to play the game without the game disc, but I guess that is expecting too much yeah ...

Well if that was the case, what would stop someone from renting a game or borrowing it from a friend, installing it, then returning it?
They need to have some kind of checker I guess.

Same here. I prefer the install games feature then the avatars.
Also, my box freezes when I try to go back to the Friends tab after viewing a friend's party from the dashboard. Is this happening to anyone else?

YES OMG! It happens ALL the time, then I go check RMN and it comes back but it's fucking annoying me

Just so you know . . . my girlfriend thought the avatars were awesome and she played around with avatars for much of lastnight. Please note that she's a girly girl and is frightened by things like video games and stereo remote controls.
