I probably could make it this year and I'd love to, but I also think that everything will be more relaxed in 2021. If there isn't a second wave of covid, spring would be ideal for me.

It seems very doubtful I'll be able to attend this year. I have 6 weeks off coming up but with travel restrictions and quarantine on return (plus I live with someone vulnerable to Covid-19).
If there is a second wave later this year it's likely I'll be told to work during my holidays as well because the government kept schools open through the last two school holidays.
Hopefully next year will be better.

If pandemic and visa situations allow I might be moving to Sydney in 2021, so totally up for a NZ meetup
I vote for 2021 as well. While I really want this meetup to happen eventually, rushing it is probably not the best idea, especially since none of us have any idea what the situation might look like in two months. Probably better not to risk having to cancel everything again. But we will get there in the future! Take good care, everyone.
As always, RMN will meet up, separately, and at home.

Block out a couple of hours to just chat, as many people as possible. It'll be chaotic, but beautiful! (Perhaps. Everyone needs to put on pants, at least.)

It could be one big party with Jackbox and party games and stuff, I dunno. An "RMN Meetup" but just, we get to see each others' faces. I mean, some of us chat on Discord all the time but I think Zoom might be that added "oh whoa you're real" factor. And people would be able to choose whether to show face or not, obviously. There's a "don't show video" option.
Discord allows for video chat. And it's also a platform that most of us are already familiar with, so it would be easier to set up. I'd definitely be up for an online RMNMeet either way (with or without video).
If enough people show interest and throw suggestions for things to do around, I'll be happy to talk to Liberty about setting something up.
