Ladies and gents, I am having a problem with my weapon animations not working. When my actors use a weapon, three different other weapon animations start playing and none are focused on the actors hand.

Which engine are you using? If it's RPG Maker MV, Ace, or VX, my guess is that there might be an issue in your side-battle script. In which case, we'd have to know what side-battle script you're using.
