[RM2K3] DYNRPG IS BEING MEAN :(

I got DYNRPG just now and a fresh new RPG Maker exe, I applied the patch, then downloaded a plugin. I put it in, and it says the plugin isn't compatible with this version of DYNRPG, from what I know there's no way to download older versions of DYNRPG and I got the newest version of both DYNRPG and said plugin (being the DynBattlerChange plugin, if that's helpful). Is there anything I can do?

Thank you so much! Using the beta made it actually work, but why does this particular patch need the beta?
