CloseHi, sorry, this isn't about actual game creation, but this seemed the most relevant place to post this. I've recently submitted my game to this site and it's awaiting approval, and with it I've uploaded a download, and a number of screenshots. However, most of the screenshots don't display properly. The few that do are PNG files from an earlier batch of screenshots, but the rest, the same size and also PNG files, don't display.
Does anyone know what the matter could be? As far as I can tell, the only variable is that the few that do display were created a few months before, which I wouldn't have thought would have an impact. ???

The only thing i can really think of is how did you save the images that don't work. What program did you use to do it?

I never really use paint. I would try using this program called irfanview. It let's you save the image into any file type you want and i haven't had one problem with it yet.

Internet Explorer has some problems with RMN. As well as Chrome as I've been hearing.

Ugh, I've used IrfanView and put them in JPEG format, and it's still not working... this is ridiculous. :(
I am on internet explorer, yeah. I might download firefox just to try it on that, or something, then...

It is most likely Internet Explorer, use another browser such as FireFox or Opera. It should work then.

This is really annoying. I'm on Firefox at the moment, and it doesn't even show up the box with an 'x' in it, just... nothing. And when I re-upload, nothing. ??? I hope this is just a temporary problem.
Hmmm...when I checked the address of the submitted screenshots this morning, many had the .bmp extension (thus will not render in a browser). I've denied them.

Some worked though, so I accepted them. Please resubmit the other screenshots once they have been converted to PNGs, and I'll check them out.

Yeah, sorry about that. I did amend the links earlier to the PNG versions, but I guess that didn't register, for some reason. Oh, well. I've re-submitted as PNGs and they seem to work fine. Thanks!
