CloseHello, i`m a new member here and well I don`t know if this is the here place for this but which is the better version of RPG Maker for a NOVICE like me...RPG Maker 2000, 2003, VX or XP ???
I'd definitely suggest 2k3 for beginners. It's easier to actually manipulate. Now, you might have issues that everything has to be 256 colors, but that's another story.
Honestly? I'll say VX would be better for beginners. Download the free trial and see what you think :)

I would like to thank both ChaosProductions & Little Wing Guy for the advice...I downloaded the free trial for VX and I also downloaded 2003...and I must say that VX is a good version but I think i`ll start off with 2003... :)
Since it is the year 2003, of course you should use the latest and most up-to-date software.
