FIRST GAME MAKER EXPERIENCES?

I remember using an old program called Quest Creator or something of the sort. I don't remember much of it, but needless to say it was very limited.
I used to draw Megaman stages on paper sheets but create my own characters and setting after a while.

If that doesn´t count: PSX RPGMaker
Well RM for PSX is still an RM ;) I even made sprites using the PSX controller in the little graphic aplication it came with.
I only got the PSX one. It is very limited, but still good :) It had a paint like application that enabled you to sprite charsets for it using the control pad o.o
I actually started game making about a month ago. When my sister downloaded VX and told me about it so I tried it out and it was awesome...Best experience I ever had, even if I'm using RTPs (and I may stick with them lol) and suck at some stuff like making monsters (they're usually too easy for me), maps(I don't take a lot of time so they're usually not so pretty X3), and probably some types of events such as quests, etc. And anything that has to use variables, I'm not sure how to function that. O_o
It helps to think of variables like one would a basic math variable.

For example, if you assigned the number '1' to Variable 1 and called the variable with the message command: \v , it would come up with '1' as a value. You can manipulate it as well - adding to, subtracting from, multiplying and dividing it as much as you like. These have a whole range of uses. You can make random number generators with a fork condition, call statistics from characters and so on.

Anyway, some weird thing on the C64, I think. Lord knows if I could remember what it was.

can't make a bad game if you don't finish any games

Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, Second Edition.

Part of the reason I can't stand 3.5 and 4e, but yeah, I started from the cosmology up. That's why I get so carried away worldbuilding. Hell, even my fictional Tombstone TX (there's a town called Tombstone in AZ, the two are not related) has a full-on history as a .rtf somewhere on my comp...
When I was a kid (like 7-10 years old), I'd actually draw up level designs for side scroller games on notepads (as in paper notepads, not the program). I had also drew an "RPG" on paper (like draft screenshots showing each area and battles in playing order.)

I must've had like hundreds of pages of this stuff. Unfortunately later on in life, I had an identity crisis and ended up throwing all of it out. I wish I still had them :(.

Anyways, after that, I worked a bit with flash and java, forgot everything I learnt, then eventually found Rmk.
RPG Maker for Playstation. It had a good premise, and it's fun to mess around with, but things like taking a whole bunch of blocks to save your work and not having a keyboard hurts. A lot.
Was a program on an old 386 called like ToolBox or something.

One of the first things I started on was an RPG, even made a fight where I made a "page" for every single possible turn of a fight, basically mapping out each turn you could take, I had like ~40 pages for the fight tiny fight in the game. :)
My first game making experience was RPG Maker 2000. I also had RPG MAker 2 for PS2, but I hated it.
I had heard about rm2k from a buddy back highschool, but i didnt have access to a PC that i could use it on freely, and it was put on the disk in a funny manner anyway. My first actual usage was , like most people, RPG Maker for PS1
