On the bad side of things my LCD monitor gave out. On the good side my dad has an old spare monitor.
On the bad side it's a lot smaller than my old monitor so I'm going to have to get used to a little screen for a bit which is going to make doing certain tasks at the same time a bit more difficult.
On the plus side it'll probably encourage me to move certain files from desktop to an appropriate folder elsewhere. That way I have less overall clutter on my screen.

Well, I finally spent around $100 on a new monitor at Wal-Mart. Though it didn't come with the cable I needed since my old desktop tower doesn't have an HDMI port. Thankfully I had a spare VGA cable that I could cannibalize from my old monitor.
If anything my new monitor is actually slightly bigger which is slightly annoying since it doesn't properly fit into the gap my desktop has for a monitor. This is because my desktop's top portion is split into two halves for a top shelf portion for storing jewel cases. It also has a hole on one side so you can put a printer or scanner up there as well, but I really don't have a use for either of those things.
Though I will admit the dinky stand that came with is a bit of a letdown as well. I'm currently using a pencil sharpener to help prop it up a bit so it's not leaning forwards.
Oh well, at least I can now keep a guide open whenever I get around to working on my third Let's Play for Infinite Space again.

Ozzy didn't get it... I guess he just couldn't see the big picture.
I'm screening all of you for these puns
