I finished The Legend of Dragoon for the first time, and man, the ending cutscene's gotta have the most horrible voice acting I've ever heard in my life.
And overall I think the game doesn't deserve all the fan praise it has. For once I agree with the so-called expert critics.

I have mixed memories of Legend of Dragoon. I've posted before about how I sat there with a calculator adding up every bit of damage I did, so when the boss's health bar changed color I could figure out its total hp number. From there, I basically started over with a new strategy in mind. It made every difficult boss battle feel like an accomplishment, although it was annoying as hell having to walk back through the same areas after clearing them once.
The battle system was a good idea, but executed poorly, and parts of the final battle were just absolute trash.

The last Kingdom Hearts game I played was the PS2 remake of Chain of Memories. I wouldn't even know where to begin if I wanted to play the other ones.
I decided to finally play Bahamut Lagoon. Just because it's the only Squaresoft game on the SNES that I hadn't finished yet.

Well, fanboys will be fanboys. After all, there's people praising Chrono Cross to no end even today. But Legend of Dragoon was pretty much up there with all the big titles of its time, in terms of overall quality. The thing is that it flew under most people's radar, and the 'critics' were completely unfair with it just because it didn't have the word "Squaresoft" on the cover. "Hur dur, it was generic and repetitive." Well, bravo! You just described the entire genre... From the eyes of an asshole, that is. =/
Suikoden, but on emulator. Sweet memories. *cries* and wanted to play it like I've played exit fate and legion saga. I hope to see that other game on rpgmaker.net complete called Evania.
Been watching let's play, and I might go find the game.
Too bad, there's no game in sight in game stores. I heard you could
get the game on PSN.

I once played Chrono Trigger until I defeated the first boss. Wasn't that awesome as people hyped.
I reached the final boss, but I never beat it. The only part of Chrono Trigger that I liked was the 1000 A.D. setting and a bit of the music. I'm sort of in the same boat as Nightowl in a way. I don't really like Chrono Trigger much (the game feels like a snoozefest) but for some reason I'm able to play the heck out of it when I'm bored.
On a related note, I now have an urge to replay Chrono Cross.

Currently, The good old fashioned original Assasin's Creed on PS3.
Personally, having an urge to play Call Of Duty ; World at War. :D

Chrono Trigger is one of my all time favorite games. I replayed it recently over Radiant Historia because CT is just so much damn fun to play.
I am currently playing SW:TOR and C&C: Covert Ops.

How far are you in TOR? I got bored and stopped playing on Nar Shaddaa because TOR has boring city planets.
Honestly I could barely even stand Nar Shaddaa after spending several levels on Coruscant.

author=UPRCI am currently on Taris, after about a month of playing a Jedi Shadow (currently lvl 20). I am very slow and methodical. The game could use more variety in quests (but I hear that is symptomatic of the MMO genre...)

Taris was a pretty fun planet overall. It was a huge breath of fire air from Coruscant. Unfortunately you're right back onto another city planet (Nar Shaddaa) after Taris.
At least Nar Shaddaa is far more interesting than Coruscant, but it's still a very suffocating and dull place compared to the outdoor planets.
