37 hours of intricate plot, character development, feuds between nations and preventing A MILLION FUCKING SHIPS from taking over the LMC amount to NOTHING when it's realised that humans are pretty much completely powerless compared to the higher powers (Overlords), who, having given humans the power to travel through space in the first place, suddenly waste no time in destroying entire fucking planets once the major peace treaty was signed, for no apparent reason. Way to hit the message home, Nude Maker. Man sucks. We get it.
Not to mention how hilariously easy the final battle was, but that's really nothing compared to how the final hour of the game unfolded. Jesus Christ. Quite depressed now.

While the rest of the family nab the PS3/TV It's connected to from me, I'm also playing Persona 4 through again, but on Expert, and NO direct commands. This is making the game a heck of a lot tougher, I can't even pass Yukiko as quickly as I did last time... ahwell, I just need to a do a little leveling and persona fusion, then I should be able to stream past her.
EDIT: Just beat her, I broke my no direct command challenge for one turn, trying to restore SP in battle with single person items just isn't possible without it. Ahwell

I'm waiting for my Metal Gear Solid to arrive in the meantime i'm playing Dragonball advanced adventures on my psp.

Starting with MGS and going the 1 2 3 and 4 order is fine, if you feel like playing the original Metal Gear duology just get mgs3 subsistence which contains the MSX versions on its 2nd disc (the NES versions suck shit). All the events in Metal Gear 1&2 are properly explained in MGS1 anyway.

portable ops though I haven't played it seems to be a spinoff and is based off of mgs3 so i probably play mgs3 before playing ops just to be safe. As for peacewalker, technically it's part of the series but staged as a prequel like mgs3. Idk just play 1,2,3,4 then play portable ops then place peace walker, thats how I would go.
Portable Ops fits into the storyline after MGS3, so yeah you would be right to play it after MGS3. It introduces a few of the characters that come into the later MGS games.
I thought about playing them in order one time, but knew that'd be immpossible. I can't get past the first boss of metal Gear so I'd end up stuck on that one foreveeeer. I hope they remake the two MSX ones, then I'd havea chance at completing the entire storyline (Minus Rising, but I couldn't care less about that).

FFVII. Just reached the world map. Wondering where the hell the motorcycle scene came from (pretty fun though).
Welp, I'm playing Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. Lovin it, but I'm starting to slow down a bit. I'm right before You get the mission to kill the second big boss and move to the next area.
Also, now that I have acquired my mystical copy of Tales of The Abyss, I'm going to try and play through all the Tales games I've accumulated - starting with Tales of Symphonia. Sadly, I had a game partially done, and since I didn't remember what was going on, started a new game and saved over it - only to realise I could have looked at the synopsis function T_T Oh well, it's better to play it through anyway.

Manhunt. It's oddly therapeutic, the same way I used to play about 20 minutes of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories every night before I went to bed. I'm not a particularly graceful killer though. :\
I'm partway through Sector D in Strange Journey, but I had a moment of weakness and bought Pokemon Platinum today. I'm not a Pokemon buff at all - I haven't played in, like, six years, most likely - but it is hella fun. I find myself saying the little quotes ("Hang in there, Stonebro!") as I play.

Waiting on Persona 3 FES to come, having ordered it today. Until it comes though, I guess I shall play more of my second run of Persona 4. Expert is actually quite a bitch! >.<
