So back in the day (like, 2015 or so) I made a game called "Zero Gear Fighters." You might have heard of it. In that game it used a very specific song from Final Fantasy V called "home sweet home," which my brain deeply associated with Zero Gear Fighters and my early experiences with RPG Maker and this community. Then, years and years later, a few months ago I was playing Final Fantasy V for the first time on Switch with the pixel remaster version. I sat there, playing through the early parts of the game, all until a very familiar song played...

Home Sweet Home. That same song I used a crappy midi of back when I made Zero Gear Fighters, now given a beautiful, awe-inspiring remix. Nostalgia began to rush through my veins as I recalled the Christmas morning that I received RPG Maker VX Ace, the time I first created my account on RMN, dragonsprit99, on recommendation from a RPG Maker Guide Book from 2008, and countless other memories. It literally made me burst into tears being reminded of days long gone by, just with a simple song from a 20 year old game. That song I still deeply associate with Zero Gear Fighters, my first real RPG Maker game, a game that still holds so much nostalgia for me. (Cheese with hot sause anyone?)

There as also that time I randomly stumbled across the OST for Sonic X on Leapster that made me burst out laughing remembering how much of a banger that game's OST was only limited by a god-awful soundchip, also from nostalgia. Any time any of you had this feeling where you got an extreme emotional response from nostalgic video game music?
