I NEED HELP!

Most of the games I download here simply will not work and it is very frustrating. I looked at the 2003 RTP thread and It says it's illegal. I currently have Common RTP 1.0, RGSS_RTP standard, and RTP for RM2K (Png, Wav, Midi, Fonts) installed on my computer. I google searched RPGMaker 2003 RTP and I found the program to make the games. I don't think that is what it is right? Anyway, I installed the RGSS_RTP standard from it. Can anyone provide any help on this? I am very interested in this game community, but I can't do much when I am unable to participate in the games here. I asked alot of people on here and they all say I need 2003 RTP. But yet, you guys also say it's illegal. To be blunt, I don't care if it's illegal or not, I just want to play some AWESOME games. I don't understand why most of the games here require 2003 RTP to run properly, but it's illegal. Nevertheless, I find this website very helpful and entertaining. For a long time, I have searched for a RPG site like this and I have finally found it. Also, if I list you the problems, maybe that can also help. When I open up a game, it then closes out and says that various files could not be opened. It appears noone can message me for some reason I don't know so you gonna have to put your response either here or email me at flashdragon56@hotmail.com. If you email me, then please post here that you have because I rarely check my email.
There isn't really a way around it. The Rm2k3 download that's floating around the 'net is the RTP and app. So you'd have to just install it for games that don't include RTP (and FullPackage=1 or whatever that makes the game think RTP is installed even if it isn't).
Also, you could always ask the game creator to make a "No RTP Required" version of their game.

well, if that's the case, I will have to ask about every creator here to make a no RTP required version. Wait.... How did you guys get it? Surely it's publicly available since so many have it.
I knew someone will say Google it! and I have. I have downloaded the whole thing. For the heck of it, I am going to try it again and thanks for the help anyway.
Okay, I just Googled it and I found a website that provides just the RTP to play the games. I am downloading right now and hopefully, this will be the end of my problems. Thanks for the help guys.

...You need the full install, there is no RTP download.
I'm confused. What more do you need? Where is the problem? You say you have the full install, that is all you need.
To check if you have the RTP, go into C:\Program Files and there should be a folder called "rpg2003". If it is not there, look for an Enterbrain folder, and inside it, look for rpg2003 or RPG maker 2003.
RPG maker does not have a seperate RTP available for install, so it will NOT be in a folder called RTP, and you would NOT have been able to install it seperatly.
